ManpowerGroup is a global leader in workforce solutions, and our Industrial division is seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead workforce operations within a large, fast-paced distribution environment.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you will take ownership of shift performance, workforce management, and client engagement across a high-volume site.

About the Role


As the On-Site Account Manager, you will oversee end-to-end shift operations, ensuring workforce coverage, safety, and performance targets are consistently achieved. You will act as the key interface between our client's leadership team and our on-site workforce, while managing and developing the onsite support team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end shift operations, ensuring full workforce coverage across all days and shifts
  • Act as the primary point of contact between client leadership and Manpower teams
  • Supervise and lead the Onsite Support Team, ensuring effective workforce coordination
  • Support workforce performance outcomes, including productivity, quality, and engagement
  • Drive and enforce health & safety standards, including audits (FSI), investigations, and compliance
  • Lead performance management processes, including:
    • Feedback and coaching
    • Disciplinary actions
    • System updates and documentation
  • Attend and contribute to daily and weekly operational meetings with site leadership
  • Monitor workforce trends (e.g. absenteeism) and conduct return-to-work discussions
  • Ensure compliance with leave processes, policies, and workforce legislation
  • Coordinate workforce planning and resourcing during peak operational periods
  • Provide full operational oversight, ensuring consistent execution and service delivery


About You

  • Proven experience in account management, site leadership or workforce operations
  • Strong leadership capability with experience managing onsite teams in high-volume environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills - confident engaging with senior client leaders
  • Sound understanding of performance management and employee relations processes
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Experience in logistics, warehousing, or industrial labour hire (highly regarded)
